How AI is Changing the Way We Code

AI coding

AI tools like GitHub Copilot are changing how developers write code. Instead of writing everything manually, many developers now rely on AI to generate code quickly and efficiently.

However, this does not mean coding is fully automated. Developers still need to review, fix, and improve the generated code to ensure quality and maintainability.

The Rise of AI Coding

Many developers feel that coding has become faster, but also more complex. AI can generate large amounts of code, which then needs to be reviewed carefully.

AI can speed up coding, but it cannot replace responsibility.

This shift means developers now spend more time thinking, reviewing, and designing systems instead of just writing code.

Using AI Agents

Tools like Squad allow developers to create multiple AI agents, each responsible for different tasks such as frontend, backend, or testing.

These agents can work together to build features and solve problems, making development more efficient but also requiring better coordination.

Conclusion

AI is becoming an important part of software development. While it improves productivity, developers must still take control and ensure the final product meets high standards.

This is exactly how I feel about AI coding.

The overlay change for Giant Mode is a nice call. That’s one of those things you only notice after actually using it. The Pose Capture idea is also interesting. I think ease of use will matter more than perfect accuracy there. If it’s quick and works “well enough,” people will use it.

AI is helpful but still needs human control.
